A GOVAN man told police to 'ram their warrant up their a****'.
Jason Craig, 28, was under the influence of alcohol when he lashed out at the officers, who were responding to another matter.
When the cops pointed out that a warrant had been issued in respect to an outstanding fine for the accused, Craig became irate.
He told the police to "get tae f***", branded them "c****" and added: "You can ram the £60 means warrant up your a****."
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Craig admitted shouting, swearing and acting aggressively towards police in Drumoyne Road on October 5 last year.
In defence it was claimed that the accused had been admitted to hospital three times this year for alcohol-related blackouts.
His lawyer noted: "He has got to alter his behaviour, he knows that."
Sheriff Gerard Bonnar deferred sentence for eight weeks until April 18 to monitor Craig's progress on another Community Payback Order. The accused, of Drumoyne Road, was encouraged to take the opportunity and be of good behaviour in the meantime.
