A MAN has been fined for a racist outburst.

Ian Graham, 34, lost his cool within a residential unit for homeless males when he spotted a project worker dealing with a man who could not understand English.

The accused angrily asked: "How the f*** did you get a house in here?"

At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Graham pleaded guilty to shouting, swearing and uttering racially offensive remarks within Clyde Place Assessment Centre on December 8, 2016.

Defending, Miss Moreland explained that her client had been going through a "chaotic time" in his life.

She said the accused was appalled by his behaviour, adding: "He recognises the staff there were just doing their job."

Sheriff Tony Kelly fined the accused, whose last known address was the assessment centre, £200.
