AN arrest has been made after six teenagers were rushed to hospital following suspected ecstasy overdoses.
Police Scotland confirmed a 17-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged drugs offences.
He is due before Kilmarnock Sheriff Court and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The arrest comes after the 13-year-olds were taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Ayrshire on Saturday night.
It is believed that the youngsters had taken MDMA pills.
All six teenagers were kept in hospital overnight for observations.
