PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle have encouraged women to break gender stereotypes while celebrating International Women's Day.

The Royal couple visited a Birmingham secondary school earlier today, where they met with a group of young girls working towards their futures.

Prince Harry and his bride-to-be also attended a Stemettes event, which encourages women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and maths - fields typically dominated by men. 

During their visit, the couple worked alongside 90 youngsters aiming to learn HTML coding and app building.

Before moving on to meet members of the Coach Core team, which was created by The Royal Foundation to provide sports apprenticeships.
