ACTRESS Helen Flanagan has been praised for her "refreshing realness" after sharing a photograph of herself in a train station.

The Coronation Street star, who is six months pregnant with her second child by Celtic ace Scott Sinclair, told her Instagram followers she's now resigned to maternity clothes.

She also poked fun at her messy hair - but offset the casual look with a Gucci handbag and Louis Vuitton suitcase.

Posting the photograph to the social networking site, Helen said she was at Piccadilly Train Station in Manchester with daughter Matilda.

One Instagram user said: “This is actually an image that I’m so grateful to see. Shows hard working, multi-tasking mum right there.

“Refreshing realness”

Kerry Gilbert wrote: “This is real life right here.”

Abigail Laidlaw added: “You’re not like a regular mum, you’re a cool mum.”

And another said: “This is real life. You look amazing still though but well done you for showing the less glamorous side of being a busy mum.”

Helen also revealed she has just two months left of work on Corrie before she heads off on maternity leave.

She added that she tries to set a good example for her daughter.

Helen wrote: "absolutely loved my time back @coronationstreet so much can’t believe I only have March and April left before I go on maternity leave!

"It’s worked in so well with Matilda and I’ve managed to work it just fine between Scotland and Manchester all thanks to my mum x

"I love being a working mummy and try and be the best example to Matilda as I can be."
