A SNEAKY Sainsbury's employee stole £3,000 by creating false refund transactions.
Christopher O'Donnell, 26, was initially accused of pocketing £4,494.15, but pleaded guilty to the lesser amount.
The accused carried out his fraudulent plan at the Glasgow store on Darnley Mains Road between December 10, 2014 and July 6, 2016.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court last week, Sheriff Brian Cameron called for a Criminal Justice Social Work report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
O'Donnell, of Shawwood Crescent in Newton Mearns, will return to court for punishment on April 6.
