The full line-up of acts coming to Glasgow this summer to support Bruno Mars has been announced.

As well as Brit award winning Dua Lipa, the legendary Scottish funk band Average White Band, funk-rock fusion DNCE, and DJ to the Stars, DJ Rashida, will be warming up the crowd.

Bruno Mars will be performing in Glasgow Green on July 10 following his success at the Grammy Awards.

He will be joined by Dua Lipa who has been on the rise to fame since bursting onto the scene in 2015.

Recently the performer reached major milestones - becoming the youngest solo female artist to reach 1 billion views on YouTube with the video for her double-platinum global smash single ‘New Rules’ and, winning two Brit Awards for Best British Breakthrough artist and Best British Female.

Average White Band are widely regarded as one of the best soul and funk bands in the history of music.

Perhaps best known for their timeless instrumental mega-hit ‘Pick Up The Pieces’, one of the most recognisable tracks in music, the band have become one of the most sampled acts in history, with Beastie Boys, Nas, and Macy Grey amongst the famous names who have drawn influence from the band.

The current line-up, with noted US musicians alongside founding Scottish members Alan Gorrie and Onnie McIntyre, continues to delight audiences around the world and are sure to bring their legendary sound to Glasgow Green this summer.

Formed in the summer of 2015, DNCE first introduced themselves to audiences worldwide with the release of ‘Cake By The Ocean’, their now three times platinum-selling breakout smash.

The American funk-pop band have reached the top 10 in several charts and have won a string of awards including Best New Act at the MTV Video Music Awards and will bring their summer vibes to the Glasgow crowd.

DJ Rashida, has established herself as one of the most sought-after DJs in the world after playing her signature fusion of hip-hop, funk and soul music around the globe in cities like London, New York, Paris and much more.

After falling in love with her first pair of turntables at age 18, Rashida has opened for acts including Kanye West, The Roots, and John Legend and quickly grabbed the eye of Prince who she toured the world with, spinning at all of his private parties, special events and performed live with him on The Tonight Show.
