THE CAST of hit TV series Outlander were all smiles and waves in Glasgow as they wrapped up filming on Thursday.
Sam Heughan and co-star Caitriona Balfe hit the city’s Saltmarket area on Wednesday to shoot scenes for the much-anticipated series four.
Dozens of eager fans had been flocking down to catch a glimpse of the pair at St Andrew’s in the Square.
Balfe, 38, was only too happy to stop and chat with fans and also pose for selfies.
Heughan, 37, also made fans’ day by waving to keen fans.
Dozens more extras in period costume had been filmed coming in and out of the iconic church over the two days.
The cast already shot scenes in Cumbernauld Glen, Lanarkshire, in January.
The Evening Times reported last week how roads in the Saltmarket would be shut - including Turnbull Street and James Morrison Street - for their full length.
The new series is rumoured to land towards the end of this year.
