A FUND to raise cash for tragic Cordia care worker Elaine McNeill will close at the end of this week.
Donors have just a few days left to contribute to a gift to Elaine's family after the young mum and grandmother died during the recent Beast from the East storm.
The Evening Times told how her body was found in the snow on Kippen Street.
The care community in Glasgow and beyond has rallied round to try to help Elaine's family, raising more than a £6000 target.
A GoFundMe page now sits at £6500 for Elaine and organiser Frances Stojilkovic has announced she will wind up the page at the end of the week.
Fellow Cordia carer Frances said: "I can't thank everyone enough for their kindness and generosity.
"The way everyone had mucked in to help has been amazing.
"Elaine's passing has touched each and everyone of us. May she rest in peace."
A post mortem examination has been carried out and Police Scotland said they were treating the death as unexplained.
