A MAN who has been missing for several weeks have been found in the River Leven.
Police Scotland confirmed today that the body of Mark Connolly, 48, was recovered at around 9am on Tuesday, March 22.
The force were called to a report of a body being discovered in the River Leven near to Renton.
Emergency services attended and recovered the body of a man from the water.
Formal identification is still to take place, however, police believe it to be Mark Connolly.
A Police Scotland spokesman added: "Relatives have been informed and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
The discovery comes after Mark was first reported missing from the Haldane area of Alexandria on February 13.
The last sighting of him was around 4pm on February 9 in the Alexandria area.
