HARRY Potter author JK Rowling has appealed for help to find the culprit behind an attempted murder bid in Castlemilk.
The writer took to Twitter to share a BBC article after a silver Vauxhall Astra ploughed into five children in the area's Stravannan Road around 3.30pm on Saturday.

She described the incident as "appalling" and asked her 14.3 million followers to help find the man behind the attack.

Four were treated for minor injuries but a 14-year-old girl is understood to have been left with a broken neck.
She is being treated at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where doctors have described her condition as serious but stable.
The vehicle was found burnt out in a rural area outside the city.
Officers are now pouring over CCTV and have appealed for witnesses to contact them on 101.
