The mystery of tons of onions being dumped in locations across the city has grown another layer.
Following the discovery of hundreds of the veg left on waste ground on Wilton Street in Maryhill, more have popped up in the south side.

One resident reported another 'mountain' of onions on Agnew Lane behind Albert Road in Queen's Park.
Locals have suggested uplifting the goods and donating them to a foodbank if they are edible.
One person added: "Local people in Wilton Street got onto public health and told them the vehicle reg number someone had seen unloading the onions.
"Then the van came back took all the onions away and now they have reappeared dumped in Govan - bizarre."

Councillor Soryia Siddique has said she will look into sending the Environmental Task Force to remove of the waste.
