A BIG-hearted Celtic supporter has given away his goal of the month prize to a disabled fellow supporter after he saw a touching video.

Twitter user John McConnell posted a clip of who appears to be his son Oisin celebrating striker Odsonne Edouard’s winner at Ibrox.

“Nothing in this world makes me happier then this [sic],” he wrote.

The video quickly went viral having been watched almost 160,000 times in just over two weeks.

Fellow Hoops supporter Andy McCabe was so touched by the video that he got in touch with dad John with a touching message through Celtic TV.

Andy wrote: “Hi John, we hope you don’t mind us getting in touch, but our goal of the month competition winner for January has won a signed shirt from Odsonne Edouard after he selected his goal as his favourite from Jan.

“Except, our winner got in touch with us after seeing your little boy’s brilliant celebration when Odsonne scored against Rangers on Twitter and he has asked if we can send the signed shirt to your son instead of him. Would you be ok with this? Many thanks, Jo”.

John shared the message with his Twitter followers, saying: “Got this msg from @CelticTV @CelticFC today, Someone has won the goal of the month comp & rather than take the prize they’ve asked that it gets sent to Oisin after seeing the video of him celebrating the goal against Rangers!

“Some absolutely amazing people in this world!#SuperO 🍀”.

Andy then got in touch with dad John directly, saying Oisin should know it was all part of “being in the Celtic family.”

He said: “Saw how much the goal meant for the wee man and thought that a shirt signed by his hero would mean the world to him. Hope that he loves it and all part of being in the Celtic family. 🍀”.
