A SECOND teenager has appeared in court charged with attempting to murder a man.

The 13-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly punched Jordan Harper, 21, and stabbed him.

It is claimed the alleged murder bid took place on April 5 at Clyde Walkway in Glasgow city centre.

The teenager appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court where he was represented by Callum Hiller, and made no plea.

It’s alleged that the 13-year-old, while acting with another person, repeatedly punched Mr Harper on the head and repeatedly stabbed him on the body to his severe injury, danger of life and attempted to murder him.

His co-accused, a 13-year-old faces the same charge as well as two more charges of being in possession of a knife, and throwing a jacket and knife into the River Clyde in an attempt to defeat the ends of justice.

Both teenagers are expected to return to court at a later date.
