DRUMCHAPEL-BORN actor James McAvoy has joked he fancies a career change - as the hair stylist of stunning actress Jessica Chastain.

The Scottish star shared an image on social media of himself teasing the stunning actress' hair.

He is set to star with Chastain in a sequel to the Stephen King horror flick IT.

McAvoy, who grew up in the city's Drumchapel said: “I’d like to confirm once and for all that I am in negotiations to be @jessicachastain ‘s new hair stylist.

“I stepped in for her go to team a few years back and can’t wait to tame that mop of fire for all the mall openings and kids party paid appearances she’s got coming up.

“Needed a career change and this feels right. I just hope I can cut it."

McAvoy, 38, who recently split from wife Anne-Marie Duff was left heartbroken in February after his mum died aged 59 at the family home in Glasgow.

His mother Liz Johnstone battled poor health for years.
