Yesterday, former Celtic star Kris Commons' daughter announced that she would be chopping a massive 10 inches off her hair for The Little Princess Trust.

Now mum Lisa has shared an adorable video of the 8-year-old on social media sporting her new stylish bob.

In the video, April displays a bag with the 10.2 inches of hair that will be donated to the charity which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.

April said: "I've just had my hair cut and this is my bob.

"I'm really happy that I did it and I think it's amazing."

Kris Commons and partner Lisa were both very proud of April's decision and Lisa wrote under the video: "Well here it is, a very happy April with a gorgeous new hair style!!

"She is beaming and so she should be, I think April really suits her bob and her gorgeous blonde locks will be greatly received by another princess.

"Thank you for the messages April has received she really was loving all the nice comments."

Followers were quick to praise the youngster's bravery and kindness, with user @marrimcintoshLooks commenting: "Great well done April very generous of you to think of other little girls."

Another @kissingwolf7 added: "Well done April, how amazing does your hair look. So kind of you that someone else will benefit, you are totally beautiful, well done."

April revealed in her video yesterday that anyone can donate their hair to The Little Princess Trust, even men.
