TWO teenagers are to stand trial charged with murdering a dad.
Darren Boland, 18, and a 17 year-old boy are accused of attacking Ajani Tella in Springburn in August 2015.
The allegation includes claims the 59 year-old was repeatedly punched and knocked to the ground rendering him unconscious.
Prosecutors state the pair then kicked, stamped and jumped on Mr Tella's head.
The man is said to have been left so severely injured that he died at a nursing home in the city's Carntyne in December 2016.
Boland and his co-accused – who cannot be named for legal reason – pled not guilty to the charge at the High Court in Glasgow.
Judge Lady Stacey set a trial due to take place in July.
