A MAN has been released from custody following the death of a woman in Kirkintilloch.
It comes after two men were arrested after Jennifer Morgan was found dead in the town in Wednesday.
Loving mother Jennifer, 33, was found by her daughter, 11, in a pool of blood when she returned home from school.
A police investigation was launched into the death of the young mother who was found outside her property in Waterside's Alexander Place.
Police Scotland, however, said today that the 32-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released pending further enquires.
It is understood that a 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death and remains in police custody.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A 32-year-old man who was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident has been released pending further enquiries."
