LADIES are being given a rare chance to experience one of Scotland’s best illusionists.

Chris De Rosa is appearing at this summer’s Ladies Who Give an F* Lunch in aid of Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBH Scotland).

Chris will be whipping up some Vegas style magic alongside Britain’s Got Talent’s Ed Reid and TV celebrity and interior designer, John Amabile, returning as compere.

The magician, from Cambuslang, comes from a family of magicians and can trace his roots in magic back 120 years.

The lunch will be held on Sunday, June 3 at the SBH Scotland Ladies Who Give a F* (Fundraising) Lunch in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow.

Chris said: “I’m really looking forward to the Ladies Lunch.

"It’s the first time I have worked with SBH Scotland, but I enjoy working with charities and recognising all the hard work they do.

“I’ve got some very special effects in store for the guests, and will be staging some audience participation too.”

The annual event is part of the Gordon Ramsay Appeal to raise funds for the charity.

The award-winning chef has been Honorary Patron of SBH Scotland since 2003.

Guests will experience a two-course lunch, take part in special games and have the chance to win some fantastic prizes.

Funds will go towards the services SBH Scotland provides to its users and families such as weekly visits with dedicated support workers, adapted activities for children and group sessions.

Deborah Roe, fundraising director at SBH Scotland, said: “The annual Ladies Lunch is always a highlight of our social calendar.

"This year’s festivities are set to be extra magical, as Chris’s performance will be packed with suspense and excitement.

"I cannot wait to see what he has in store for us.”
