A THUG who repeatedly kicked a man on the ground has been jailed for breaching a court order.
Stephen Carrick, 24, was initially placed on a Community Payback Order (CPO) for punching a man on the head, knocking him over, and booting him whilst on the ground in Sauchiehall Street on December 27, 2016. The accused also struggled violently with two constables during his arrest.
Returning to Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, Sheriff Tony Kelly noted that Carrick, of Viewpoint Place in Springburn, had no intention of completing the order. Sheriff Kelly thereafter revoked the CPO and sentenced the accused to six months in jail instead.
