EX-RANGERS ace Richard Foster’s grandad has blasted him after he barred his mum from his Vegas wedding to pop star Amy Macdonald.

Iain Cruickshank, 72, slammed the St Johnstone star for cutting out Carol and not having “the bottle” to tell her the news in person.

The school bus driver, who was also snubbed for the bash, said Foster, 32, has left his mum in bits.

Iain told the Scottish Sun: “He has not invited my daughter to the wedding. It’s broken her heart for him to do this.

“Not only has he not invited invited her, he didn’t have the decency nor the bottle to tell her to her face.

“Instead he put a scribbled note on a bit of paper and shoved it through the door.”

The footie player plans to tie the knot with Macdonald, 30, in a glitzy bash in Las Vegas.

He has invited some relatives but told his mum she’s not welcome in a letter that he packed in with her birthday present.

He’s sparked a bitter family split and Iain fears being a celeb has gone to Foster’s head.

He added: “If this is what fame and and fortune do to people then you can keep it.

“I just hope Miss Macdonald realises the type of person she is getting married to.”

In the note, Foster said he had sleepless nights over the decision but had to choose between Carol, 54, and his dad Martyn, 56.
