An award-winning Scottish bottled beer will be available in cans for the first time.
Aran Blonde, currently a cask and bottled beer will also be available in kegs for pubs in cans for off-sales.
Arran Brew said there is a market for the cask and bottle and the keg and can products which are different.
Gerald Michaluk, Managing Director of Arran Brew said: “So is a bottle better that than a can?
“The answer is they are perceived to be but in reality there is little difference in the actual beer.
“If I am climbing Goat Fell, the largest mountain on Arran, I would want a can and not the added weight of a bottle. There are good reasons to choose a can or a bottle but beer quality is not one of them”.
The beer has now been released in a can version called ab and will be available soon across the country.
