MOTHERWELL have been handed a maximum ticket allocation of 15,000 seats for next month's Scottish Cup final clash with Celtic

The Fir Park club will put an initial 12,700 tickets on sale, but more will become available should there be more demand for the Hampden Park encounter on 19 May.

Prices will start at £30 for adults and £15 for concessions.

The Steelmen have until 8 May to request the extra briefs from the Scottish FA or they will be resdistributed to Celtic.

Chief Executive Alan Burrows said: “We have worked extremely hard over the last week to get as many tickets as possible for this match, whilst agreeing to be flexible depending on how sales are going.

“Like the Betfred Cup Final back in November, we have agreed to sell them block by block and request B4 and B5 in the west stand if we sell out in time.

“After prolonged negotiations, we have managed to secure tickets in top tier of the south stand, above Motherwell fans, which was extremely important to us.

“I would urge as many ‘Well fans as possible to get their tickets as early to avoid disappointment and to maximise the potential support at the final.”

Celtic are expected to bring around 30,000 fans to the national stadium as they look to seal a double Treble, although the Hoops are yet to release details.
