A YOUTH project in Glasgow has been boosted by £19,270 from the Scottish Children’s Lottery.
PEEK (Possibilities for Each and Every Kid) offers play, creative learning and volunteering opportunities for children and young people, and their families, in more than 30 of the most disadvantaged communities across the north east of the city.
The cash will be used to extend the charity’s award winning programme, PEEK Thrive, which offers accredited training, skills development and volunteering opportunities.
Melodie Crumlin, who heads up the project, said “This grant will allow us to maintain and further develop our approach across the north east of Glasgow, enabling young people to flourish and succeed.”
