A Westie is being treated by an animal charity after being found in a 'sorry state'.

The dog, called Agnes, was found by a concerned member of the public on Auchintibber Road in East Kilbride on April 19.

She is now being looked after at the Scottish SCPA's Lanarkshire animal rescue and rehoming centre.

Agnes suffered from a severe skin condition.

“Although she is not underweight, she has a severe skin condition that has not happened overnight.

“We’re hoping that someone recognises her and gets in touch as soon as possible.”
