PLAY Expo, Scotland’s biggest gaming event, is set to return in June with a spectacular two-day event at Braehead Arena.

Taking place on Saturday 9 and Sunday, June 10, the event, which is returning to Glasgow for the third time, promises to be unmissable for both seasoned gamers and novices alike. Packed full with features, exhibitors and gaming mayhem, the event will see the largest selection of gaming under one roof in Scotland.

The large-scale event is designed as a celebration of Scottish gaming culture and is expected to attract more than 4,000 people over the course of the weekend. Gamers can look forward to everything from retro arcade favourites such as Mario, Sonic and Street Fighter to the latest selection of cutting edge games on powerhouse machines.

Andy Brown, MD of Replay Events, and the organiser behind PLAY Expo, said: "We're thrilled that PLAY Expo is returning to Scotland this summer following the success of our previous events. The gaming community in Scotland is thriving, from independent developers to everyday gamers, and PLAY Expo has become a key date in the calendar to celebrate Scottish gaming and all it has to offer.

"PLAY Expo Glasgow has grown year-on-year and 2018 looks set to be the biggest and best yet, with tickets expected to sell out for the two days. The unparalleled breadth of gaming and fun activities on offer means there is something for everyone, whether you're a hardcore or casual gamer."

The event, designed for both children and adults, will boast a Cosplay stage, competitive team tournaments brought to you by local gaming community Versus Scotland, as well as a selection of awesome pinball machines courtesy of the Scottish Pinball Association.

Tickets for PLAY Expo Glasgow are available now priced from £10 (child) & £15 (adult). For further information and tickets, please visit playexpoglasgow.com
