POLICE investigating the murder of Julie Reilly deployed a specialist unit in the Govan area on Thursday.
Police Scotland's Dog Unit helped officers continue their investigation on Drumoyne Drive.
The force's canine officers were spotted searching gardens while a large cordon remained in place.
Julie Reilly, 47, of Shieldhall Road, was reported missing on February 15 after failing to turn up for a medical appointment.
Andrew Wallace, 41, has appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court accused of her murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He has been remanded in custody and the case has been continued for further examination.
The Evening Times previously reported the remains of the missing woman were found by Spanish family staying in a holiday flat in Glasgow.
The flat was previously thought to be rented out by Airbnb, but a spokesman today told The Evening Times that they had no reservations at properties in or around the area where the discovery was made, and the group which made the discovery were not Airbnb guests.
