CELTIC legend Henrik Larsson seems to have befriended a fan who got in touch with him during Sunday’s match against Rangers.

Sophie McGowan, from Glasgow, claimed to have been drunk when she got in touch with the former striker on Instagram.

She posted screenshots of a conversation she had with the 46-year-old. She captioned the post: “ok drunk me mails henrick larrson asking him to facetime me n now hes ma besto [sic].”

The screenshots show Larsson tell Sophie: “Sorry but wasn’t available yesterday :(”

He goes on to reply with a thumbs up and ‘cool face’ emoji when Sophie pledges her allegiance to Celtic.

The ex-striker also tells her to “be humble” after she forecast a 6-0 score in the match against Rangers.

He also told her: “Hope you’re sister had a great weeding [sic].”

Fans were quick to pat Sophie on the back after her feat and her post got almost 6,000 reactions.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers hopes to work in the English Premier League again but “no time soon,” he revealed on Monday.

The 45-year-old is one game away from an unprecedented double treble after a 5-0 victory over Rangers on Sunday wrapped up the Ladbrokes Premiership title.
