A FILM crew was spotted on one of the South Side's busiest roads recording for a new BBC drama starring Kelly Macdonald and John Hannah.
Vans were seen in Govanhill on Victoria Road and are believed to have been filming The Victim, a legal thriller.
The BBC One drama is being filmed at locations across Scotland and also features up-and-coming actor James Harkness.
Set in Edinburgh and Greenock, the series tells the story of Anna Dean - played by Kelly - whose nine-year-old son was murdered by a 13-year-old.
The series, written by Rob Williams, opens on day one of a criminal trial in Edinburgh’s High Court.
It follows the legal proceedings in the present, while also looking back over the five months leading up to the trial.
John Hannah has been quoted as saying: “It is great to be back filming in Scotland especially as Rob has delivered in DI Grover an exquisitely drawn character.
"On first appearance he seems pretty straight forward but I'm pleased to report that audiences will soon find out that this is far from the case."
