Convicted paedophile has taxi driver renewal licence rejected after offence with girl, 13
A CONVICTED paedophile has had the renewal of his taxi driver licence rejected.
Gordon McCartney “engaged in sexual activity” with a female under 13-years-old in 2015.
Paisley Sheriff Court sentenced him to a 300 hours community pay back order.
Police Scotland raised an objection to his licence renewal at the Licensing and Regulatory Committee today.
Already suspended, councillors prevented the child sex offender from returning as a taxi driver.
