AS Rangers fans lamented the departure of team boss Pedro Caixinha in October last year, one fan in particular was feeling the sting - and still is.

The Evening Times previously reported how Light Blues-mad Andy Gray, from Greenock, had been left with the ex-boss’ name tattooed on his right arm upon his departure.

Now, in an attempt to get it covered up, it seems Andy still isn’t happy.

The 23-year-old attempted to have the Portuguese coach’s surname scrubbed out - and replaced with “Mendez” instead.

The young man originally got the scrawl during a stag do in Ibiza last summer.

The shortest-serving manager in the history of the Ibrox club, beleaguered Caixinha was told his time was up after chairman Dave King called an emergency board meeting to discuss the side’s alarming slide, calling to an end his seven-month reign.
