A MAN has been slapped with a fine for attacking someone outside a Milton convenience store.
As reported by the Evening Times previously, Stephen Rolland, 48, was captured on CCTV punching his victim numerous times before driving off in a car.
The surveillance video showed the complainer attempting to defend himself before taking refuge in a nearby shop.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Rolland pleaded guilty to pushing a man on the body and repeatedly hitting him on the head within Liddesdale Square on August 13, 2016.
In defence it was claimed that the crime was not planned and Rolland was annoyed at himself for committing the assault.
Sheriff Neil Mackinnon fined Rolland, of Westray Street, £270.
