THE BBC are looking general knowledge experts to take part in the quiz show Eggheads.
Twelve Yard Productions confirmed that casting for the hit quiz show is currently taking place ahead of filming at the BBC headquarters in the Pacific Quay in July.
In a casting call on social media, the producers said: "The BBC2 quiz show Eggheads is looking for contestants.
"We're looking for teams of six with the quizzing knowhow to take on our resident general knowledge geniuses.
"If you, your friends, family or colleagues think you've got what it takes and would like to challenge the Eggheads then contact us now - you could win a cash prize."
The show began in 2003 with Dermot Murnaghan and Jeremy Vine taking on presenting duties.
In each episode, a team of quiz and game show champions (the Eggheads) is challenged by a squad of contestants for prize money.
The most prize money that has been won is £75,000.
