BEACH cops have targeted boozy teens heading to seaside - by seizing their alcohol.
Ayrshire cops were at Glasgow Central Station today in a bid to prevent anti-social behaviour involving teenagers at the seaside.
A force spokesman said: "Ayrshire Safer Shores Multi Agency operation underway today with alcohol already removed from youths at Glasgow Central Station ensuring Ayrshire beaches are a safe and fun place to be."
The move comes after Troon beach descended into a scene of chaos last year with boozed-up teens causing havoc in the seaside spot.
Several young people were taken away in ambulances, with over indulgence in alcohol the suspected cause.
