A TEENAGER has been left with a serious facial injury after being 'glassed' in Kelvingrove Park.
The 17-year-old boy was sitting on the hill near to the fountain and pond around 11.40pm when he was approached by a group of four or five male teenagers.
Words are said to have been exchanged and the victim was hit on the face with what may have been a glass bottle.

The suspects are described as being 17 years of age, one of which was 5ft 9, dark hair, wearing dark t-shirt and shorts. Another was carrying a white bag
Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a serious facial injury and later released.
Detective Constable Jacqueline Paterson from Drumchapel CID said: “There was a Jake Bugg concert on at the band stand on Friday evening and the park will still have been busy with people.

“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or noticed a group of male youths acting suspiciously to please get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Drumchapel CID via 101, quoting incident number 5718 of Friday 25 May 2018. Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.”
