SCOTTISH rugby International and Glasgow Warriors player, Henry Pyrgos, has backed a campaign that’s close to his heart.
The 28-year-old Glasgow Warriors scrum half joins actor Martin Compston by adding his support to Alzheimer Scotland’s Memory Walks.
The events are taking place at 15 scenic locations across Scotland, including Kelvingrove Park on September 30, offering communities the chance to walk together with family and friends living with dementia and raise vital funds.
Henry said: “I decided to support Alzheimer Scotland in honour of my Grandad who has been living with dementia now for a few years so it’s a cause close to my heart.
