A VEHICLE fire caused traffic chaos for drivers on the M77.
The route was at a complete standstill after the motor caught fire between junctions six and seven led to a lane closure around the Maidenhill and Kingswell slips.
Police had warned motorists to avoid the M77 completely this evening.
But Traffic Scotland said the road is now clear and traffic beginning to move again.
