CREATIVE talent is rife in Glasgow – and contributes to the city’s vibrant culture and artistic output such as films, television programmes and music.

Training the next generation of creative professionals through industry-standard practice-based education, is SAE Glasgow. With two state-of-the-art campus buildings situated in Kinning Park, the institute boasts a warm, dynamic environment that sees gifted individuals transform into successful practitioners in their chosen field.

On Saturday, June 2, the campus is opening its doors to potential students and interested creative individuals to showcase the impressive facilities and equipment on site, including the newly refurbished annexe building which boasts a high-tech animation lab.

Students at SAE Glasgow undertake two-year degrees and short courses in a range of subjects including audio, animation, film, and music business. Through industry-focused training delivered by expert staff still professionally active in their respective fields, students become well-equipped to begin their careers and many have had great success since graduating.

Those that plan on attending the event can expect to get a real flavour of what life is like as a student. Visitors can have a bespoke tour of both campus buildings, will be able to chat to the tutors and students, as well as get career and admissions advice from staff. Production demonstrations will also be going on throughout the day.

Tommy Wylie, campus manager, said: "We encourage everyone to visit us for a tour of the campus as this allows potential students to see exactly what SAE Glasgow is all about and make an informed choice. We are so confident in the quality of our education and equally proud of our facilities that we love to welcome interested individuals to give them a flavour of what we can offer them.”

The open event will take place on Saturday between 12-4pm. To register, go to eventbrite.co.uk/e/sae-glasgow-open-event-registration-40869362363.
