THE funeral of former Glasgow Lord Provost Pat Lally will take place this week.
The former Labour leader died earlier this month aged 92.
A reception and vigil will take place on Thursday, June 14, at 6.30pm followed by a funeral mass at 10am on Friday, June 15 AT Christ the King Church on Carmunnock Road.

He will be laid to rest at Linn Cemetery around 11.15am.
Family and friends have been invited to attend.
As previously reported in the Evening Times, Pat was leader of Glasgow District Council, before going on to be the city's Lord Provost from 1996 until 1999.
Pat was born in Glasgow and brought up in the city's Gorbals area, working initially in the clothing trade before going on to serve as a radar operator in the RAF during the Second World War.

His wife Peggy died in 2007, after a cancer battle, at age 65.
The duo were married for 40 years, having met when she was just 14-years-old, and had two sons together, Robert and Derek.
