THE daughter of Rangers legend Gordon Smith has revealed she will be eating her own placenta following the birth of her son.

Libby Smith welcomed Edson Thunder with ex-Hoops goalie Logan Bailly last week.

Now, the 29-year-old model has revealed she will take supplements in pill form made from her own placenta.

The WAG also received a placenta face cream, balm and smoothie as well as a bloodied imprint and framed umbilical cord - all part of a £500 package from firm After Glow.

On Instagram, she said: “I am so glad I made this choice.

It’s a unique experience that can only be experienced through being pregnant and having a baby.

“I want the best post-birth journey for myself and my baby, and I believe more women should know about this too.”

Stars, such as Kim Kardashian West, have previously jumped on the band wagon in a bid to aid the "baby blues" after giving birth as well as helping them get back to themselves.
