A MAN has made a second appearance in court accused of the murder of Rutherglen man Steven Campbell.
Daniel McCafferty, 33, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court today where he made no plea in relation to the death of the 27-year-old father-of-three.
McCafferty, of Rutherglen, also faces a further charge in connection with the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
He was fully committed and remanded in custody.
Steven, known as Stevie, died after being struck by a white Ford Transit van in the early hours of Saturday, June 2 in Burnhill Street, Rutherglen.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.
We previously reported that family and friends held a Celtic-inspired balloon released in his memory at the weekend.
