A DENTIST could soon move into a plush shopping mall if centre planners approve a plan.
Permission is being sought from Glasgow City Council to turn a retail unit into a dentist/orthodontist within Princes Square.
A planning statement said the unit was previously occupied by Castle Galleries who took on several temporary leases before relocating to Queen Street.
The planning statement said: "Whilst unit 40 has been marketed for class 1 use since 2010 no offers for long-term lease have been forthcoming from any class 1 occupier.
"An occupier has now come forward who wishes to take a long lease on unit 40 and operate a class 2 dentistry business from there.
"The class 2 business will offer services including dental implants, orthodontics and facial aesthetics using technologically advanced treatments and renowned clinicians, dental technicians and suppliers."
A decision on the plans is expected by August 3.
