FAST food giant Domino's is on the hunt for 250 Scots to help produce a whopping six pizzas a second during the World Cup.

The pizza extraordinaires are looking to recruit a total of 3,000 staff throughout the UK with 250 to join the team in Scotland.

Workers who will help handcraft and deliver almost seven million pizzas during the World Cup alone - with hungry fans expected to munch more than a staggering 60 million slices throughout the competition.

Domino’s has added a special edition ‘Meatfielder’ pizza to its menu ahead of the World Cup, which comes packed with pepperoni, ham, chorizo, pork meatballs, smoked bacon and Domino’s secret sauce.

While the take away favourite is also offering fans a special memorial sticker book with their meals.

Simon Wallis, chief operating officer at Domino’s said: “With a bumper summer of sport, we’re looking for over 3,000 team members and expect to serve up almost seven million pizzas during the World Cup alone.

"We wanted to get in the football spirit with some Pizza-nini stickers and are delighted to call up our new ‘Meatfielder’ to the Domino’s menu, which will be around for the whole of the tournament, regardless of how far England make it through.”
