THE Govan Ferry will be operating from next week, it has been announced.
The popular River Clyde boat made an announcement on social media to fans confirming it will take passengers from Friday, June 22.
The statement added: "Please use the service to visit the Riverside Museum, the Tall Ship, the Govan Stones and Fairfield."
The news delighted fans on social media.
One said: " Used it almost every day the last season. Happy to see "The wee Ferry" back sailing for the people of Govan and beyond."
Another added: "Fantastic wee service, hope everyone supports it again this year."
The Govan ferry is a free service connecting the Riverside Museum and Tallship to the Govan Stones and Fairfield Heritage.
The Govan ferry ran for 230 years until 1966, when it was first scrapped. The nearby Kelvinhaugh ferry made its final river crossing in 1980.
It was relaunched several years ago.
