A SCHOOLBOY is in hospital following a hit and run.
The 10-year-old suffered a fractured arm after he was hit at around 2pm on Saturday on West Granton Road near to its junction with Royston Mains Street, Edinburgh.
Police said after he was struck by a car, the vehicle involved failed to stop.
The vehicle is believed to be a white BMW motor car. After the collision it continued west on West Granton Road, Edinburgh.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information about the vehicle or driver involved is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting the reference number 2152 of 16/6.
