Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace a 57-year-old man missing from Blantyre.
Alistair Mathieson was last seen leaving his home in Glenfruin Road at around 7am on Monday, June 18.
The alarm was raised when he did not turn up for work.
Alistair is described as being around 6ft with grey hair, clean shaven and wears glasses.
When last seen, he was wearing a grey fleece and blue jogging bottoms.
Inspector Susan McGinlay, Hamilton Police Office, said: “It is totally out of character for Alistair to go missing. He has never failed to attend work and follows a regular routine in the morning.
“He has lived in Blantyre his whole life and is a keen photographer, Therefore, he knows the area very well.
“As time passes, his family is becoming increasingly concerned he has not been in touch or come home.
“Officers have been making door to door enquiries, checking CCTV and have been searching the surrounding area.
“We would appeal to anyone who may have seen Alistair at any time throughout the day to come forward and contact us. We would also ask Alistair himself to get in touch with the police or his family to let us know you are okay.”
Anyone with information should contact police via 101 quoting incident number 0989 of Monday, June 18 2018.
