PERU Two drugs mule Michaella McCollum has reportedly left the name of her twin boys’ dad off their birth certificates.

The news comes as she has been working to keep his identity secret in her Instagram posts by covering his face with emoji.

As previously reported by the Evening Times, the 24-year-old took to social media to share the birth news with her 20,000 followers last month.

Now, though, it has been revealed the ex-jailbird has named the babies Raphael Genie and Rio Addison - but has refused to name the father, reports MailOnline.

Michaella, from Belfast, and Melissa Reid, from Lenzie near Glasgow, were thrust into the spotlight after being arrested on August 6, 2013 for drug smuggling at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru.

Their luggage was found to contain 24lb (11kg) of cocaine worth £1.5 million.

They were only 20-years-old at the time and were dubbed the “Peru Two” by the press after the incident became breaking news across the UK, Ireland, and in other parts of Europe.

In the days after they were caught at the airport, it was reported they could face up to 25 years in some of world’s toughest jails.

In reality, both women were jailed for six years and eight months after admitting to the crime, but were freed in 2016 after striking a deal with Peruvian authorities.
