TWO women were subjected to racist abuse on the Glasgow Subway, prompting an appeal for information.
A man, who made reference to being part of the BNP, hurled abuse at the women between 7pm and 7.15pm on June 13.
The man boarded the service at St Enoch and left at Cessnock station.
To date, the victims did not reported the matter to police, however, other concerned passengers did.
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) are now looking to the Glasgow public for information.
The man is described as white, aged in his thirties and of slim build.
He had brown hair which was shaved at the sides and spiked on top.
He also had black frame glasses and was wearing a light-coloured jumper, blue jeans and white trainers.
Anyone with information about the incident or the man is asked contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 557 of 13/06/18.
Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
