PLANS have been submitted to turn an empty premises into a beauty salon and hairdressers in Glasgow city centre.
A premises on Bath Street has been signalled for the transformation. Permission was previously granted for the vacant unit to be turned into a pub.
A letter accompanying the plans states: "Our client is in the process of acquiring the entire property at 196 Bath Street , comprising ground, first and second floors, and will bring the vacant first and second floor levels back into active office use, with the hair and beauty salon at street level."
The proposal states that the hair and beauty salon would employ 12 people in full and part time positions.
A decision is expected on the plans in August.
