ONE of Glasgow’s busiest streets has been partially cordoned off as emergency services deal with a health and safety hazard, possibly caused a bird.
Firefighters rushed to the scene on Argyle Street, near the St Enoch centre around 11.56am on Friday, after reports of an unsafe glass panel on the outside of a six-storey building.

It is believed the glass panel is on the Superdry shop building.
A spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 11.56am on to reports of an unsafe glass panel on the exterior of a six-storey building on Argyle Street, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire engines to the scene, where crews remain in attendance.
“There are no casualties.”

Police Scotland said they received a report of a bird flying into a window.
